FAQ's
How long before my event should I contact you? I recommend contacting me as soon as possible since most events are weekends and/or holidays which fill up fast. Occasional last minute orders can be fulfilled but only at my discretion.
How do I know if my event date available? Once you submit the quote request form I will check my calendar and confirm before moving forward with the quote. If the date is available, it will not be reserved until a deposit is received.
How do I reserve my event? I require a signed contract and initial non-refundable deposit of 50 % which reserves the date and time. The balance is due a week prior to the event.
How much does this cost? Since every event is unique, balloon art is custom made-to-order. Pricing calculations include the venue (size, location, delivery fee), amount of materials, accessories, etc. Please complete a quote request form and I will contact you within 24-48 hours with pricing. Note: Your order will not be confirmed until a deposit is received.
Is delivery included? Delivery is $2 per mile (one way) from the intersection of Washington Rd (Rt. 19) and Race Track Rd. Orders must meet a minimum of $150 (before delivery and installation) to qualify for delivery and installation. If your budget is under $150 I do offer a variety of pick up options.
I have a small budget, can you still help? Yes, of course. Tell me your vision and I'll try to make it happen.
Am I in your delivery area? I deliver from the Canonsburg, Pennsylvania area but am willing to travel. Please fill out a quote request and I will let you know.
Can I pick up my order? Yes, as long as you have the proper vehicle to transport the balloon art safely.
Is tear down included? Tear down service is not standard. If it is required, there will be an additional cost.
What is the difference between Balloon Art by Amy and the balloons at the Dollar Store or on Amazon? I use high quality balloons which provide a much nicer look, better color offerings and are made of longer lasting materials. Cheaper balloons tend to pop easily and do not have the same appearance. Most of the "kits" available online are misleading in regards to assembly and final product. Quality materials produce a quality outcome!
Can I change my theme or colors before my event? You will need to contact me at least 2 weeks before the event date to make changes. Changes of color or theme are subject to availability.
Can you customize balloons with names or phrases? Yes!
How long will the balloons last? I use air-filled balloons which normally last a couple weeks. These balloons do not float like helium balloons. Temperature of the venue is also a factor (inside, outside, hot, cold).
Can you decorate an event outdoors? Yes, however since weather can be very unpredictable the following policy applies: Once a balloon installation is delivered and installed I am not responsible for wind or weather damage to the balloons or event cancellation. Also, I am not liable for damage caused by anyone other than myself or my staff moving, adjusting or rearranging the balloon art.
How long does set up take? Set-up generally takes at least 2 hours but can fluctuate depending on the complexity of the balloon art.
